Students with learning disabilities often need support services to help bring out their best.

At Trailblazers students have access to professional and experienced therapists and educationists who provide a multidisciplinary approach to ensure each child’s cognitive and academic development.

Depending on the need, each student may avail the following therapies and services

Speech and Language Therapy

  • To address issues such as stammering
  • To develop receptive and expressive language skills
  • To enhance auditory and phonological processing skills
  • To improve vocabulary and pragmatic language

Occupational Therapy

  • To develop gross and fine motor muscles and grips especially those used for writing
  • To strengthen visual perception and eye hand coordination.
  • To enhance cognition and increase independence and self esteem
  • To learn self-regulation to facilitate social participation and peer engagement

Counseling and Behavior Therapy

  • To support students who struggle with mental health issues develop coping skills and strategies
  • Enhance emotional regulation by reducing anxiety and changing negative thought patterns.
  • Utilize positive reinforcement techniques to increase desired behaviors.

Academic Coaching & Mentoring

  • To provide learning support for every student, so that each child can experience academic success
  • To conduct regular scholastic and cognitive assessments to measure student progress
  • To provide one on one academic remedial sessions to improve reading and written expression, as well as numeracy concepts and skills.
